Homer Ronald Leach, 83, of Chillicothe, died 1:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in the Adena Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 30, 1933, in Ross County, to the late Homer and Ottllee Kip Leach.
Surviving are a son, Stephen (Tammy) Leach of Mooresville, North Carolina; a grandson, Cody Leach; a brother, Clarence Leach of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters.
Homer attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from DuPont.
Homer was a member of the Ross County Cattlemen’s Association, the Ross County Conservation League and Chapter 6 of the International Tractor Club.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Rev. Carol Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ware Funeral Home.
