Timothy F. Kelley, age 69, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.
Born in Nyack, New York, Tim was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a graduate of Randolph (NY) High School and attained both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Linguistics from the University of California-Long Beach.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Frank Kelley; his brothers, Tom Kelley and Pat Kelley; and his brother-in-law, Tom Smith.
He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 39 years, Rena Kelley; mother, Elizabeth Kelley of Bluffton, South Carolina; his children, Katrina Kelley-Olivares, Martin W. Markham III, Elizabeth Kelley-Miyashiro (Manny) and Kimberly Jannetti (Aaron); his grandchildren, Martin Markham IV, Brian Markham, Brittni Olivares, Jordan Olivares and Maverick Timothy Jannetti; brothers, Kevin (Virginia) Kelley and Mark (Carrie Ann) Kelley; sister, “Mary” Michaeleen Kelley; sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Smith; and brother-in-law, Val (Carol) Manning.
Family will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, where his funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
