Jane Ellen Hoover, 100, was born Jan. 4, 1917, in Pickaway County.
Jane was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lucretia Lamb.
She retired from the Pickaway County Welfare Department.
Jane was a member of Community United Methodist Church, PERI chapter 41, Public Employees Retirees of Ohio and Pickaway County Senior Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glyn E Hoover; her son, James (Brenda) Hoover, her daughter, Penny Dietrich; her brother, Neil Lamb; her sisters, Martha Barbee and Faye Lamb; her sister-in-law, Ruth Lamb; and brother-in-law, Richard Barbee.
Jane is survived by her son, Frederick (Sharon) Hoover. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, as well as nephews, nieces and many friends.
