Sharon J. Carter, 72, of Kingston, passed away on May 24, 2017.
She was born on Sept. 5, 1944, in Logan.
She attended Hilltop Mission Church and was an active volunteer at Hallsville Community Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Louise Six.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Verne Neal Carter; son, Tomas (Sherri) Carter; daughter, Anita Carter; grandchildren, Tabitha (Anthony) Ciardelli, Jodelle (Troy) Harvey and Nathan Carter; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Luke and Anna Ciardelli and Grant and Avery Harvey; and by two special cousins, Ruth Sinnott and Glenda Nihiser.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville, with Pastor Jared McKinney officiating with burial following in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends called from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
