Donna Jean Gothard, age 89, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Member of Chicago Avenue Christian Church, graduate of Union Furnace High School Class of 1943 and retired from Columbus City Schools. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Martha Gordon, 2 sisters, 1 brother, grandsons Matthew, Gavin and Larry. Survived by loving husband of 71 years Eustice L. “Toot”, daughters Suzann (James) Daviner, Marvina (David) Pelfrey, Roberta Harris, Anita (Dennis) Kelley and Emily (Ken) Ward, special friend William Parker, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Phyllis Pitts, numerous loving relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143; where funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday. Interment Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 6150 East Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213 in Donna’s name.
