Garth R. Young, 25, of Laurelville passed away on November 26, 2017. He was born in Columbus on December 17, 1991 to Ned and Teresa (Penrod) Young Jr. Garth was preceded in death by his grandparents Elbert Penrod Jr. and Robert Johncox and by great grandparents Clydus and Grace Young and Carl and Hazel Burns. In addition to his parents he is survived by sister Brittany Marie Spain, brother Jacob Tecumseh Young, nephews Tyler and Lucas Spain, by grandparents Juanita Adkins, Ned A. and Carolyn Young, Sr. and Rosemary Johncox and by his girlfriend and her daughter Jonda Harr and Octovia Okran, . A gathering of family and friends will be held at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. Cremation was observed.
