Teays Valley High School guidance counselor Julie Samlow recently received a $2,000 grant to purchase items for the school’s new student initiative program. This program is in place to assist students in the transitioning process of beginning a new school.
“Without the support of community organizations such as the Teays Valley Educational Foundation, so many of our programs would not exist and students would not have the resources that will help in their educational journey,” Samlow said.
