CIRCLEVILLE – Christmas Trees are out and ready for sale at Rhoads Farm Market in Circleville.  According to Rhoads facebook post they started unloading trees on the 14th of November and they were putting them out today when Brandon Schlichter came with his family to buy one.

“I was told today while at Rhoads Garden Center Inc that I picked up the very first tree of the season!

When do you get your tree, and do you use a live tree or an artificial one?  How early is it to set up your tree?

Prices here start at $59 for a Fraser fir tree I bought the cheapest they had and I’m pretty happy. Granted we did not go with the one in the picture with my kids, as I did not realize you cannot get a living tree and keep it indoors for very long.”
According to todayshomeowner.com, “A freshly cut tree, kept well supplied with water, will last about a month. If you’re buying a precut tree, be sure to ask when it was harvested. All Christmas trees will begin to lose needles as they dry out. Fir, spruce, and cypress generally keep their needles longer than pines.”
