The Teays Valley Educational Foundation recently awarded an $800 grant to Teays Valley West Middle School librarian Jennifer Seebauer and sixth grade language arts teacher Erica Neal to purchase a Cricut and supplies for students to participate in markerspace activities.
“Mrs. Neal and I would like to thank TVEF for the monies to purchase a Cricut. It will be used in conjunction with the makerspace activities students complete twice a month. Makerspace allows time for students to work towards a common goal utilizing collaboration, teamwork and creativity to complete the task,” Seebauer said.
