CIRCLEVILLE – Today was the grand opening of the new Motogear shop located at 119 West Main Street in Circleville. Owners Anthony and April Adkins say it a dream come true for them. Adkins said he’s been in love with motorcycles and Harley-Davidson since he was 10 years old and wants to show the area what bikers like himself can give back to this area.
Adkins said he plans to expand into other motorcycle items not just Harley, “because he wants to cater to all bikes on the road, and believes all bikes are under the same brotherhood. Full service bike center and bike sales, new and used, plans to showcase bikes even on the storefront area.”
When asked about the annual bike rally that has been so successful the last few years under the previous owner, he said he wants to do it bigger. “With the new Pumpkin Park area that gives a great area for live music and possible beer garden,” he said. Not only do we want to continue the annual show but we would like to host a monthly bike night downtown and bring people in for poker runs for charities for veterans, and plans to give back to the community and downtown as much as they can.
Motorgear carries new/used items for bikes, apparel, and gifts Harley and Non-Harley related. Soon the store is planning on launching a custom gift items such as t-shirts, tumblers, and gift baskets all with a motorcycle theme. Check them out on facebook Motorgear on Main
Thanks for the info. Please let us know the exact dates the meet-ups will happen. I will plan to avoid the noise at the very least. You could also publicize ways to donate to charities w/out burning fossil fuel, roaring around or even anonymously!
