OHIO – The Ohio Division of Wildlife are reporting that they will stock public lakes throughout Ohio with Rainbow Trout. According to a press release Division of Wildlife will release the trout into 66 lakes before Mid-May.
The Trout are from a hatchery in Oho and the Trout measure between 10-13 inches long. A Ohio license allows anglers to take up to 5 fish. The first release will be March 8 at Adams Lake in Adams County.
“By stocking these lakes throughout the state, good fishing is available for anglers of all ages to get out and enjoy quality spring trout fishing in a family-friendly environment. Many stocked locations will feature special angler events, including youth-only fishing on the day of the trout release.”
