Columbus, Ohio – Mount Carmel Health System today announced its Mount Carmel Grove City campus will officially open on April 28, bringing the first full-service hospital to Grove City and surrounding communities. The $361 million, 210-bed facility with all private rooms integrates inpatient medical care with wellness and prevention services designed with the patient in mind.
“Mount Carmel Grove City is a state-of-the-art facility that sets the standard for people-centered care,” said Sean McKibben, president of Mount Carmel Grove City. “Every aspect of this hospital was designed with a focus around the safety and needs of our patients and their families, as well as the efficiency of our team. With 1,500 employees and 400 physicians, Mount Carmel Grove City provides full-service patient care, including cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, and vascular services. The new campus also has an expanded 24/7 emergency department as well as three medical office buildings that include women’s health, outpatient surgery, pain management, wound care and multi-specialty physician practices.
