CHILLICOTHE – The bomb that brought Columbus Bomb crew to Chillicothe ended up being just drugs.
According to police Around 3:30 pm there was a report made on a domestic dispute taking place in the Walmart parking lot in Chillicothe and police arrived on the scene. During the investation police were told that a bystander had heard the two couples arguing about drugs that were hidden on the vehicle. Police upon further inspection of the vehicle noticed two objects attached to the bottom of the vehicle. These looked like IED “pipe Bombs” so Columbus Bomb crew was called out to investigate.
Turns out the IED bomb ended up being two tubes full of drugs, about 16 grams of heroin, 26 grams of methamphetamines and 5 grams of cocaine.
Charges are pending on the bust.
