PICKAWAY – After 45 years at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Tim Carpenter has decided to retire. Sgt. Carpenter started at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff Dwight Radcliff in 1974 as a dispatcher.
Sgt. Carpenter has worked many facets of the sheriff’s office including dispatch, jail, crime lab and road patrol.
Sheriff Radcliff stated that “You’re not going to find a more straight arrow with a quiet demeanor.” “He’s never going to do anything improper. He’s the epitome of a fine example for people and other deputies to follow.”
The entire staff at the sheriff’s office want to congratulate Sgt. Carpenter and we all wish him the best in his retirement!
