USA – Your chances of being struck my lightning are actually higher than you may think According to the National Lightning Safety Council.
If you ignore safety when lighting occurs your odds of being struck by lightning during your lifetime is 1 in 15,300.
National Lighting says that if you go indoors when lighting is occurring your chances of being struck are at zero though.
