Franklin Coroner Issues Another Overdose Death Alert After Six Die in Less than24 Hours

FRANKLIN – Franklin County Coroner Dr. Anahi Ortiz says that there has been Six overdose deaths in less than 24 hours.

“Unfortunately I am issuing anther overdose death alert.”

In July of this year the Coroner issued a weekend overdose death alert when during one weekend alone they suffered six deaths in one weekend.

In May the Coroner issued a overdose death alert when nine people died in only two days.

In October of 2018 Franklin County Corner issued a overdose death alert when seven overdose deaths were recorded in less than 24 hours.

The Dr. asked people to make sure that they are arming themselves with fentanyl testing strips and narcan. The Doctor reported that most of these overdose death are fentanyl related.
