NEWPORT – The Newport Aquarium is offering free admission for first responders for the week of September 09 – September 15th. The free admission is in recognition of Patriot Day, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, state troopers, correction officers, 911 dispatchers, and other professionals involved in law enforcement, investigations and emergency response can receive free admission to Newport Aquarium.
Newport Aquarium showcases thousands of animals from around the world in a million gallons of water, including the enormously popular “Sweet Pea” and “Scooter,” the stars of the first shark ray breeding program in the world.
Located at One Aquarium Way, Newport, KY 41071, Free admission is granted with valid government-issued photo ID, at the Newport Aquarium ticket window. Family members and friends who accompany police, firefighters and first responders at the Newport Aquarium ticket window can receive discounts of $5 off adult and child (ages 2-12) admission.
