Hasbro has released a “Ms. Monopoly”, a makeover of the classic board game Monopoly. The new game is to celebrate women’s empowerment.
The new game will have female players making more money than their male challengers. Women will collect $240 every time they pass Go, meanwhile men will collect $200 with every pass.
It’s “a fun new take on the game that creates a world where women have an advantage often enjoyed by men,” the company said in a statement. “But don’t worry, if men play their cards right, they can make more money too.”
Another big change you will see in the new game is that players won’t buy property, instead they will invest in inventions that were created by women.
Pre-order for “Ms. Monopoly” is available starting Tuesday, September 10th.
