PICKAWAY – The Teays Valley Educational Foundation awarded a $1,000 grant to Teays Valley West Middle School technology teacher John Hyder to purchase three iPads. They will be used with Ozobots for STEAM education activities such as coding.
“We are very thankful for the Foundation and the grant awarded to us for the purchase of three iPads. They will be used in conjunction with Ozobots, which are used to encourage and learn coding in a new and exciting way,” Hyder said. “Computer Science is a growing area in education as more and more jobs require these skills. I feel it is as much a joy as it is an obligation to share and grow with my students. We are excited to use them this month.”
