Washington Court House – A man was arrested on Wednesday November 13th after wielding a wire rack and attacking three random people in Walmart.
According to police around 7 pm on Wednesday police responded to the local Walmart located at 1397 Leesburg Ave. for the report of multiple people injured and a man assaulting customers.
According to the arrests report Daniel Wheeler, 40 Cincinnati picked up a piece of metal shelving and wielded it like a samurai and when he swung he hit two people with the same hit. a 34 year-old man and a 67-year-old woman neither of these two people knew each other or the assailant. Wheeler than ran up to another stranger a 15-year-old boy and and punched him in the chest.
All three assaults were without warning and for no reason according to witnesses.
No one was severely hurt in the incident but mostly shocked.
Wheeler was arrested and is being held in Fayette County Jail on a 51,000 dollar bond and charged with Felonious assault (times 2) and Assault, Two are second degree felonies.
