USA – A sweater that has quite a bit of controversy on how it got from idea to in stores, now has Walmart pulling it from shelves.
The ugly sweater sold online through Walmart Canada shows Santa Smiling while sitting at a table with three lines of white powder sitting in front of him, additionally the photo shows santa with a straw in his hand. Underneath the photo it says, “let it Snow.”

Many people online were quick to call out the sweater saying it resembles cocaine and drug use. The retailer has now pulled the wool-polyester blend pullover and posted a statement.
“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website,” director of corporate affairs, Adam Grachnik, said. “We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused.

The description that has now been removed from the website said, “This Men’s Let it Snow Ugly Christmas Sweater captures that moment when Santa is finally ready to enjoy that sweet, imported snow.”
