OHIO — We have noticed a few stations dipping below $2.00/gallon for unleaded gasoline over this weekend. That trend has been noted in other parts of Ohio as well. However, when looking at the price of gas in our local area, prices vary by over 30 cents a gallon. According to GasBuddy, which can show an average for a county, the lowest average is in Franklin and Pickaway Counties and the highest is in Vinton County. In fact, both extremes are more than 10 cents above or below the state average.

Trends continue to show that prices may fall as fears of the Coronavirus spread into the oil market. The cheapest gas in Ohio right now is in Middletown, where a few stations are at $1.85/gallon. Grove City has the cheapest local gas at $1.89/gallon as of this evening.
