US – The longest cop tv show is being pulled after the aftermath of the George Floyd’s death and the series is not coming back after 25 years on TV.
“Cops is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” a Paramount Network spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline.
Cops first appeared on Fox in 1989 for 25 seasons then moved to Paramount network in 2013 and has aired until now. This week would have started its 33rd season.
A&E pulled the airing of “Live Pd” on June 5th, and we are awaiting a decision on when it will come back to Air.
