Logan OH- We’ve received several messages and some even containing photos regarding a law enforcement presence at the Hocking County Fairgrounds on Tuesday 6-30-2020 and we are now able to explain.
Logan Police and the Hocking County Sheriff’s deputies were responding to a call from a concerned citizen about a large crowd of young people walking across the Fairgrounds.
Law enforcement through their investigation once the group was confronted, found that the group was there for a fight that never got to take place thanks to the units quick response.
The crowd of young people left the area and law enforcement returned to their patrol areas with no further issues.
