Chillicothe – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash that
occurred on SR 552 in Pike County at approximately 11:30 P.M. on July 2, 2020. A 2006,
Pontiac G6, driven by Haydon Campos, 18 of Chillicothe, was traveling east on SR 552.
A 2001, Ford F150, driven by an unknown male, was traveling west on SR 552. The Ford
F150 went left of the center line and struck the Pontiac G6. The driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot.
Mr. Campos was transported to Adena Pike Medical Center by Pike County EMS. Mr.
Campos was later transported by ground to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Pee Pee Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
