North Carolina – “Help Asheville Bears” a activist group aimed at helping bears in the area and informing public is asking for help in identifying a person or persons responsible for putting a Trump 2020 sticker on a local bear, and this isn’t the first time.
According to the group the bear was photographed in North Asheville North Carolina on someones porch. The photographer is concerned with the sticker being a “billboard for others” in the online post she said, “these bears are already suffering enough with the heavy collars and metal ear mutilations. But to put a political sticker on the collar? No words can describe my anger and sadness. I have reached out to North Carolina Urban/Suburban Bear Study number that I had from May 19, 2019, as well as North Carolina Wildlife Resources, but have not heard back from either.”
This isn’t the first time that someone has reported a Trump 2020 sticker on a bear. On September 6, 2019, the Asheville Citizen-Times ran a story of a bear with a similar sticker on it.
