Madison – Madison county sheriffs office said that they have had several people call in about a local scam threatening people to pay their warrants or bonds.
The Madison Sheriff Department says that the office would never call you on this situation, and warns that people receiving local calls from 740-204-2986 or 740-852-1211, please ignore the call. If they call from other phone numbers, please report it to the office.
Numbers are coming up on ID as Sheriff Department.
