Chillicothe OH- Nancy Joan Lovensheimer, 90, of Chillicothe, went Home to be with her Lord early Saturday morning, December 12, 2020 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, following an extended illness.
She was born October 19, 1930 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Susie (Diehl) Moran. On September 27, 1958, she married James A. “Lovey” Lovensheimer, and together they shared over 55 years of marriage before his passing November 21, 2013.
Surviving are their three children, Cynthia Ann Lovensheimer, Cheryl Lynn (David) Warrens, and James Gregory (Melissa) Lovensheimer; six grandchildren, Heather (Jamie) Lynch, Ashley (Fiancé Shawn Goodwill) Hougland, Nick (Abby) Love, Brie Lovensheimer, Clayton Gloyd, and Delaney Lovensheimer; five great-grandchildren, Brennan Hougland, Korbyn Simpson, Ava Jones, Asher Goodwill, and Aubrey Love; a special niece, Karen Young; a special nephew, Mike Lechner; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings.
Nancy was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took immense pride in her family. She loved getting to take care of people and they meant the world to her.
Private visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. A public graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Springbank Cemetery, with Pastor Dennis Ray officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to a charity of the donor’s choice.
