New Holland OH- In a statement by Pick-A-Fay Joint Fire District, the announcement regarding the passing of a 59 year veteran was made today with heavy heart.
Captain Edward Orihood has passed away at the age of 77.
The Pick-A-Fay Joint Fire District Facebook page had these words from their Chief:
“CHIEF DESANTO:
Today, December 28th, 2020 it is with a heavy heart I announce that we have lost a active member. Captain Edward Orihood has passed. He has served with the PIC-A-FAY JOINT FIRE DISTRICT for 59 years and at the age of 77, he has answered his final call. I ask that everyone keep the family and fire family in your prayers”
