Chillicothe OH- Ronnie L. Shoemaker, 71, of Chillicothe, passed away 4:58 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born January 27, 1949, in Ross County to Wilford A. “Bill” and Marcella Kellough Shoemaker. On January 27, 1968, he married the former Linda Lee Pierce who survives.
Also surviving are children, LaRhonda (Rodney) Jones, Ronald (Julie) Shoemaker and Amanda J. (Jim) Bushatz, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Nicholas (Heather) Neff, Ashley (John) Gragg, Nathan (Erin) Neff, Mark Shoemaker, Wyatt Shoemaker and Kaylee Bushatz; five great grandchildren; mother, Marcella Shoemaker, of Chillicothe; brothers, Gary (Vanessa) Shoemaker, Leo “Slick” (Karen) Shoemaker and Rick Shoemaker, all of Chillicothe; sisters, Freda (Lonnie) Hamilin, Becky (Jeff) Speakman and Vicki (Roger) Conley, all of Chillicothe; loved by many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Brenda Shoemaker, of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his father, Wilford A. “Bill” Shoemaker; brother, John Shoemaker and nephew, Russell Leach.
Ronnie retired from CCI and attended Camelin Hill Church.
Private funeral services will be held for the family Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Lonnie Hamlin and Rev. Willard Kellough officiating. Public graveside service will follow approximately 3 p.m. in Huntington Township Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours.
