OHIO – Ohio division of Wildlife says that they don’t waste the natural creatures from Ohio wildlife poaching seizures, often they are donated.
“Wild game that is taken illegally and suitable for human consumption is often donated to organizations serving the hungry,” said ODNR in a post.
Wildlife Officer Josh Zientek recently delivered over 60 pounds of ground venison to the Wauseon School Food Pantry recently that food will be distributed to help the hungry.
ODNR says that venison in the photo came from an eight-point buck that was taken illegally in Fulton County during the deer gun season.
