SOUTH BLOOMFIELD – A high speed chase has ended in a field just north of South Bloomfield after OSP spiked the tires.
According to dispatch a pursuit after an attempt to stop lead Ohio state highway patrol, south Bloomfield, and possible sheriffs department on a high-speed chase north on US-23 after coming out of Ashville. Spike strips were deployed that deflated one of the tires of the vehicle, the suspect then dumped his car at the Renicks farm market area where he fled on foot.
Ashville Pd was also involved.
Two other people are detained at the scene now.
EMT crews are heading to the scene for possible injuries from the crash
