City of Pickerington – On Monday, May 3 2021 at approximately 2155 hours, the Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a three vehicle fatal crash on SR 256 in the City of Pickerington.
Ani Davitian, 28, of Reynoldsburg, was driving a 2019 Honda CR-V southbound on SR 256. Franklin Bonilla, 39, of Pickerington, was driving a 2017 Honda Pilot southbound on SR 256. Mark A. Williams, 31, of Columbus, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze northbound on SR 256 and traveled left of center, striking the Honda Pilot and the Honda CR-V. Mr. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Licking County Coroner Office. Ms. Davitian and her three passengers, Emil Davitian, 36 of Reynoldsburg, and two juvenile passengers, were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Franklin Bonilla was transported to Mount Carmel East with suspected minor injuries. Two passengers were in the Honda Pilot. Lauren Gonzalez, 33, of Pickerington was transported to Mount Carmel East with serious injuries. Another juvenile passenger of the Pilot was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Troopers from the Lancaster Post of the Highway Patrol, along with the Pickerington Police Department, Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, and Violet Township Fire and EMS responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
