US – Alcohol-based hand sanitizers have been a staple for the fight against COVID-19 and germs now the USDA is warning on some effects.
“Today, we issued a new Drug Safety Communication warning that vapors from alcohol-based hand sanitizers can have side effects such as headache, nausea, and dizziness.
Consumers should use hand sanitizers in a well-ventilated area. If you are in an enclosed area such as a car, open a window to improve ventilation until the hand sanitizer is dry and the vapors have cleared.
