Scioto Farms Solar invites residents and other interested members of the public to participate in the public information meeting to outline plans to build the Scioto Farms Solar Project in Wayne Township, Pickaway County, Ohio.
Scioto Farms Solar is proposing to develop, construct, and operate an up to 110 MW solar-powered electric generating facility in Wayne Township, Pickaway County, Ohio. The general purpose of the project is to maximize energy production from solar resources in order to deliver clean, renewable electricity to the regional transmission system to serve the needs of electric utilities and their customers. Scioto Farms Solar expects to file its application in December
- Construction of the project is planned to begin in the 4th quarter of 2022, with commercial operation in 2024. Scioto Farms Solar has arranged for a public information meeting to be held on September 14, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Hampton Inn, 1520 S. Court Street, Circleville, OH 43113. The meeting format will be similar to an open house. Maps of the project area will be available to review. Company representatives will also be available to answer questions. Those who attend the meeting may provide written comments that Scioto Farms Solar will
summarize and include in its application.
