Bryce Baltzer, Logan Elm senior and Lance Berard, Logan Elm junior earn top spots in the 2022National Junior Gold bowling competition.
The United States Bowling Congress sponsors the national competition for top bowlers across the country. Each qualifying tournament awards top bowlers in scholarships and the opportunity to compete at the national tournament.
Berard qualified with an 845 series earning him the top qualifier at the Southwest Open held at Poelking Lanes, Dayton, Ohio.
Baltzer qualified with a 950 series earning him the top spot at the Ohio Valley Bank Open, Skyline Lanes, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Baltzer and Berard will have the opportunity to earn scholarship dollars in addition to their current winnings. The Junior Gold National competition will be held July 15-23, 2022 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
