BUTLER – A Ohio Sheriff has made a public comment on Vaccines in the county and his stance on them.
“The Sheriff’s stance on vaccines are one in the same as mask mandates,” Said the Sheriff.
“We are not the vaccine police. The sheriff’s office will not be going door to door and we will certainly not be checking vaccine cards before you enter a restaurant or any other establishment for that matter.”
The sheriff continued saying that he is vaccinated, that he’s not opposed, but, “if you want to be vaccinated that is your right as an American citizen. If you do not want to be vaccinated I believe that is your right as an American citizen as well.”
Since March 1, 2021, Butler County has seen 89 deaths due to COVID-19 456 Hospitalizations, a total of 10,813 cases have been reported with 6,939 cases that have recovered.
