Ross – A woman gave Ross County Deputies a false name and then took off on bike on Thursday,
According to Ross County sheriff department deputies were called to the scene of a “suspicious female” on a bike in the area of Shiloh road and Smalley lane when deputies asked for the information she provided a Social Security number, When the officer went back to the vehicle she took off on the bike towards CR550 then into a field where she dumped the bike and took off on foot. Deputies reported that she went into a creek bed and disappeared.
Later on, another call came in not too far from the original location of a “suspicious female” who matched the description of the earlier call. When deputies arrived she attempted to take off on her bike and then run on foot again but deputies caught her this time on the woodline.
She was arrested for fleeing and eluding, she was found to have a warrant from another county also.
