PICKAWAY – One person was killed after crashing a vehicle in the area of 16348 London Road in Orient Ohio.
According to Ohio State Highway patrol at approximately 1:28 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on London Road north of SR 316. Once on scene, troopers discovered a blue 2006 Chrysler Town & Country in a field that had traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, a tree, and fence.
The vehicle’s owner and driver, Mr. Ronald Williams, 58, of Orient, was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle. Mr. Williams was transported by EMS to Mount Carmel Grove City where he was pronounced deceased.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by Harrison Township Fire & EMS as well as the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. The crash remains under investigation and alcohol is suspected as a contributing circumstance.
