BULTER – Another child has been arrested after a threat has been made against a school in Ohio
According to Butler County Sheriff’s office on Monday, December 20, 2021, the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division received an investigation reference to a female juvenile posting on Tik Tok that she would be “shooting up LJS” “If not today, tomorrow.” The Tik Tok post was also posted on Snapchat and a fellow student called 911 to make law enforcement aware.
The Liberty Junior School Principal was notified and closed the school. After an immediate investigation, detectives arrested a thirteen-year-old from Lakota Pointe in Liberty Township and charged her with Felony 3 (F3) Making Terroristic Threats.
The juvenile is currently in the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.
I’ve said this before and will continue to say, we take these threats very seriously. Cowards behind the keyboard will be identified, arrested, and charged,” states Sheriff Jones.
