CHILLICOTHE – A man jumped from his apartment window to escape a domestic situation on Monday.
According to the Chillicothe police department officers and squad responded to 250 Fairway ave in reference to a male falling from a balcony. When they arrived they found a man on the ground with injuries from the fall. He was loaded up and taken to Adena hospital where he told police he jumped from the balcony because his girlfriend wouldn’t let him leave during an argument.
Police took this information and questioned his girlfriend who admitted during the argument she blocked the door of the apartment not allowing him to leave. At this time police arrested the woman for unlawful restraint, but the boyfriend stated later he did not want to press charges so the charges were dropped, and she was released from police custody.
