Chillicothe – Police are investigating a shooting after a man was shot in the city after he showed up in an emergency room.
According to the Ross County sheriff’s office, they were dispatched to ARMC ER when the hospital reported a male had walked into the ER with a gunshot wound around 9:53 pm.
It is unknown at this time what time the shooting occurred but witnesses in the area reported hearing three gunshots in the area of Chips Drive Thru on 2nd street in Chillicothe.
The male was transported to Grant Hosptial in Columbus, it is unknown the severity of the gunshot wound
Ross County Sheriff determined that the shooting did occur inside Chillicothe and turned the investigation over to them
