Hillsboro – One suspect is dead after police shot a man during a traffic stop on Sunday.
According to Highland County Sheriff’s department, BCI has been called to the scene of the incident where an officer attempted a traffic stop on State Route 62 south of Hillsboro. which ended in the officer pulling his gun and fired on the suspect.
The incident occurred around 2 am on Sunday, July 17th.
According to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office press secretary Steve Irwin, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating a fatal shooting is under investigation at this time.
Irwin said that the department would release more information on Monday
