OHIO – Longtime local, former Pickaway Commissioner, and now State Representative (OH-78) introduced a bill in March that will take, “The Greatest Free Show on Earth,” on the road.
Circleville Pumpkin shows inc contacted Stewart and wanted to add its logo and representation of the Pumpkin Show, not a festival, on personalized license plates in Ohio to add pride to one of the longest-running free shows in Ohio.
“Pumpkin show Inc. worked in 2020 to get signatures to start the process of getting the legislation to this level. Over 150 signatures were needed,” said Barry Keller of Circleville Pumpkin show, “We then needed a Representative to push the bill for us and Brian Stewart was happy to do that.”
This week that bill was signed off on by BMVs Registrar of Motor Vehicles this week Charles L. Norman in a tweet he said, “Something tells me that @BrianStewartOH will be happy with what I’m signing today. The @PumpkinShowInc specialty plate will be available for sale from @Ohio_BMV starting November 3rd. #pumpkinshow”
