Chillicothe – A deceased woman was found in a field by railroad tracks over the weekend and now police are investigating what happened.
According to police, a woman was walking on Rose Street by the open field when she saw the subject slumped over and called 911. When they arrived they described the woman’s body as, “clearly deceased.”
Assistance Coroner Dave Russell was contacted and arrived to take possession of the body. Because of the unknown nature of the incident, an autopsy was ordered.
Police reported that they took several photographs of where the woman was walking before she died. On her arm was found a recent hospital band that had a name but that name was not correct along with the date of birth. Police did find the identity of the woman as 45 year old Amy Cunningham
