Jackson – Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Jackson Post are warning motorists and seeking assistance in identifying an individual who was impersonating an Ohio State Trooper.
The incident occurred on May 15 in the area of Mulga Road and State Route 32 in Jackson County. The vehicle is described as an unknown make and model charcoal gray two-door sedan with front-end damage and yellow tape on the driver-side headlight.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately 50-60 years of age. 5’5″ tall and weighing approximately 250 pounds. The suspect had a goatee with facial scruff, wrinkled skin and was bald on top with dirty matted hair on the sides. This individual was dressed in a blue uniform with a dark blue stripe down the pant legs. The top of the uniform was short sleeve with yellow rank chevrons on the left sleeve
When the suspect previously attempted to make a traffic stop, he placed a red flashing light on top of his vehicle. If you encounter the suspect, please call 9-1-1 immediately. Additionally, if anyone has any information about the suspect, please contact the Jackson Patrol Post at (740) 286-4141
