Washington County – A traffic stop ends in an arrest and seizure of drugs
On June 25, 2023 Officer Stapleton was on patrol in the area of S.Elm St. and initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation near Christman Park. Contact was made with the driver Paul Houser III. During the stop the agencies K9 was utilized and positively indicated.
During a search of the vehicle officers located suspected cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana. The suspected narcotics along with over $2,000 was seized.
K9 Edox was rewarded with lots of praise and a few chicken nuggets according to the police department.
