Circleville – A Peaceful protest is scheduled for this weekend to protest the K9 attack that has gone national.
According to a Facebook page called Dismantle Circleville Police, a protest is planned this Saturday at 12 pm. The page and protest is asking for several things, terminate police Chief Shawn Baer, terminate Officer Ryan Speakman, Retire K9 Serg to a rescue, drop charges against Mr Jardarruius Rose, provide race sensitivity training to all officer, and reduce the Circleville Police department budget to 50%.
The protest is planned for Franklin street in the area of the police department, you may want to expect some road closures in the area for saftey of the protesters and citizens.
