ATHENS – On Sunday, August 13, 2023, Troopers from the Athens Post of the Ohio State
Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle fatal crash involving a pedestrian on State
Route 13, .1 miles south of mile post 11, in the Village of Trimble, Athens County, Ohio.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:58 a.m.
Jonathon Stobart, 30, Glouster, Ohio was operating a 2015 Ford F-150, traveling south on
State Route 13. As the vehicle traveled south it struck a pedestrian that was in the
roadway attempting to cross in an undesignated area. The pedestrian was identified as
Natasha Wolf, 23, Athens. Ms. Wolf was transported to O’Bleness Hospital in Athens,
Ohio by Athens County EMS where she was later pronounced deceased. Mr. Stobart did
not sustain injury.
Agencies assisting on scene included the Glouster Fire Department, Athens County EMS
and Athens County Sheriff’s Department. The roadway was shut down for approximately
two hours while the crash was investigated.
