Indiana – A Grove City man has died after a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash in Indiana on Wednesday morning
According to Indiana State Troopers a Wednesday morning crash along Interstate 74, just west of Batesville occurred after a 2017 Peterbilt tractor that had collided with a bridge support. Multiple agencies responded to the single-vehicle accident around 4:00 a.m.
According to Indiana State Patrol when first responders arrived the driver was entrapped and soon after was reported deceased.
Investigators say Osei K. Boateng, 55, of Grove City, Ohio, was traveling westbound on I-74 when the semi collided with concrete bridge support, there were also protectors around the support that the semi drove through.
After the crash, the semis load was spilled over the roadway closing it for several hours for clean up.
